What is love

Love is like the fire

Hot and burning with desire

It warms the heart when it is cold

When the nights are lonely, it gives you someone to hold

Its that light in the darkness

That brings out the best in us, even the heartless

Love is like the wind

 Even though you cannot see it

You know it is here because you can feel it

When it is strong it lefts you up and whist’s you away in ecstasy

 It takes you above the clouds far beyond your expectancy

Like the air you breathe you live it

It’s a gift you receive it when you give it

Love is like the Earth

Plant a seed and watch it grow

Nurture it and see how it will glow

It is filled with many hidden treasures

To fulfill all your deepest pleasures

You can mold and shape it into a masterpiece

Create your own wonderland, hide away and find peace

Love is like the Water

Always flowing with joy

It makes you feel happy as little boy getting his first toy

It washes away all your pain and sorrow

  Gives you hope for tomorrow

It is deep and everlasting

Like a story that has no ending

You feel on top of the world like a king wearing a crown

It floods your heart and then you drown
